Wheels in Motion is the most amazing kept secret I have ever discovered. It is run by the nicest most compassionate people that truly will give of themselves, their time and their money to help someone else. There are no words to fully express my thanks to them and Papugam for getting my Uncle back on the water. Two days later and he is still talking about this.

We had an amazing day yesterday out on the water. Never thought we would see the day when we could get Duane back on a boat. It’s been almost 4 years since the last time and 1 week before his transplant. Yesterday was the day and he fished the whole 5 hours said he has fisherman’s elbow from it. He caught the first fish and probably the most for the day. We can’t thank Eric Sansote and Wheels in Motion Barrier Free Boating enough for the use of the boat. What an amazing foundation to help people with disabilities. Truly made all of us excited to be able to have this experience.

“After my injury, I thought my days of adventure were over. Then I discovered Wheels in Motion. Participating in their off-road handcycling events has reignited my passion for the outdoors and shown me that anything is possible.”

“I just wanted to send a quick Thank You for yesterday’s Disability Dirt Day. My son Matthew, 22 year old with autism, was one of the participants. The event was a HUGE success for our family. We (Matt and both parents) were able to ride the course in a Gladiator (Black Widow), and my son was smiling, laughing, and just having a great time. “BigTrucks” and “Mud” were the discussion on the way home. This is our third time atthe event and EVERY volunteer has been helpful, open, supportive, cheery, and the list goes on. Truly special people. There are plenty of things in this world that my son does not always get to experience. To have an event like this is amazing.
