Barrier-Free Boating at the Summertime Senior Picnic 🚤🎯🎶

Please join us on Wednesday, July 30, 2025 for Summer Vibes Live, previously Senior Summertime Picnic, at Independence Oaks County Park from 4:30 – 8:30 p.m.. This is a free event.

📍 Twin Chimneys – Independence Oaks County Park, Clarkston, MI. 

Enjoy fishing, archery, a nature education program, lawn games and a pontoon boat ride during this adults-only program.

Activities are first-come, first-served and end at 6:15 p.m. Preregister by Wednesday, July 23 for activities.

Get ready for a relaxing and fun-filled evening outdoors! Barrier-Free Boating will be offering pontoon boat rides during the Summertime Senior Picnic, hosted by Oakland County Parks.

 adults-only event is a great way to enjoy the outdoors, meet new people, and experience the freedom of barrier-free boating.

Live music will be featured from 6:30-8:30 p.m. with food available for purchase from a food truck. The band Merge will perform hits from the 50’s through today. All ages welcome and no registration is necessary to just listen to the music.
