SUMMARY:Superman Event on Lake Ponemah\, Linden!
DESCRIPTION:The PST Superman event\, on Saturday July 26 is designed to bring together PST residents and individuals with disabilities and paralysis for an unforgettable day on the water\, made possible by generous volunteer boat captains and sponsors from our lake community. \nSATURDAY JULY 26 \n12:00–5:00 PM \nVolunteer boat captains will meet guests at Howard and Kim Schrock’s residence\, on Isle View Drive (address to follow)\, to meet and load boats. We will have equipment and volunteers to help each guest safely onboard. Volunteer captains and their first mate will take guests and their caregivier/family memebers (depending on boat capacity) out on their pontoons to enjoy the lake however they’d like—cruising\, relaxing at the sandbar\, even getting in the water if they wish. \nPST will have volunteer assistants spread out across the 3 lakes to help\, should there be a need. As well as local police and EMS on standby. Guests are asked to bring a caregiver/friend to help them while on the water and back at the lakeside event following. \nSATURDAY JULY 26 \n5-10PM \nAfterward\, everyone is invited to a lakeside evening at the Schrocks’ home from 5:00–10:00 PM\, featuring live music\, food and beverages donated by local businesses. \nWe are looking for more restaurants\, and local businesses who are interested in sponsoring this event\, while promoting their business on social media. Please reach out to the contact below if interesting in getting involved. \nSuperman wouldn’t be possible without Howard and Kim Shrock graciously offering to host at their beautiful lakeside property following the day on the water. \nWe’re looking for volunteer boat captains to help make this event a success. If you have a pontoon or boat of any kind\, and would like to be part of this special day\, we’d love to have you join us.
